Every excavation project disturbs the natural landscape. The degree of disturbance is dictated by the client’s need, designer’s vision and engineer’s practicality. The process is then left in the hands of the excavation contractor. We at Greeneck Earthworks believe that a paradigm change toward greener excavation practices is needed and are pioneering the use of common sense practices that will help evolve the industry.

Our Techniques and Services Technology
Our techniques to accomplish our goal of eco-friendly excavation are not as complicated as one might think:
• All equipment, including transport and dump trucks will be fueled exclusively by Blue Sun Biodeisel.
• In doing so we can help reduce greenhouse emissions while helping to minimize our impact on oil dependency and the international conflicts that result from them.
• We are working with our equipment supplier to develop bio-hydraulic fluid that will reduce the damage caused to the ground when non-bio compatible fluids are released during a hydraulic leak or hose rupture, which unfortunately is at times unavoidable.
